Aeroflot To Begin Flights To Nha Trang On Vietnam’s East Coast From March

Aeroflot plans to launch flights to the Vietnamese resort city of Nha Trang in March this year, company CEO Sergei Aleksandrovsky has stated, saying “We plan to open a new route to Vietnam, to the city of Nha Trang, at the end of March. We also plan to expand our regional flight program to Hainan Island in China from three Russian cities, namely Kazan, Ufa, and St. Petersburg.”

Aeroflot currently operates flights three times per week to only one Vietnamese city, Ho Chi Minh City.

Nha Trang is on Vietnam’s east coast and is a popular tourism destination. Hainan Island is nearby, between east Vietnam and the south China coast. It too is a popular winter sun destination. Both have regular services onwards to Hong Kong. Russian tourism to Vietnam was up 85% in 2024.
