Intra-trade among the Eurasian Economic Union countries grew 10% year-on-year in January-July 2026, according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. He was speaking at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
Mishustin said that “We are increasing mutual trade. It rose 10% year-on-year in January-July 2026”, adding that the use of national currencies is also expanding, with the share in settlements for goods having reached nearly 95%, which he described as a solid result.

He said that the EAEU’s key macroeconomic indicators are showing positive momentum despite the external challenges. Gross domestic product grew more than 1% in H1 2026 on the back of increases in industrial production, retail trade, and agricultural output. The EAEU includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The EAEU’s combined GDP exceeded US$3.02 trillion in 2025, representing a 16.6% increase compared to 2020.
Statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission show that the value of mutual (intra-bloc) trade within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) reached US$95.1 billion in 2025. Should the 10% growth figure remain constant for 2026, the EAEU’s mutual trade turnover will reach US$104.6 billion.
