According to the Russian Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV), the Logopark Primorye company, an investor in the Primorye Priority Development Area, is building a huge multifunctional warehouse complex in the region, which will be designed for both domestic and international marketplaces and retailers. The project will be implemented in seven stages, the last of which will be operational by 2031. The creation of such a complex will strengthen the logistical role of the Far East, accelerate the delivery of goods from other countries, primarily from China, and contribute to the development of international transport corridors passing through the Primorye region, where many of Russia’s Far Eastern ports are located.
Logopark Primorye will be constructing warehouses, administrative and auxiliary buildings, checkpoints, sheds, parking zones, and other engineering infrastructure, with a total area of more than 89,000 sq. metres. It will be intended for tenants engaged in storage, processing, and distribution of goods. As it will also service international goods, it will almost certainly include bonded warehouse and customs facilities. The company is investing ₽5.3 billion (US$64.5 million) to build the facilities. Construction work will begin this year.

Oganes Akopyan, General Director of Logopark Primorye, said that “The complex will include capital buildings and structures with various functional purposes, suitable for housing logistics and distribution centres, as well as inventories of industrial, commercial, and internet companies. Long-term and short-term leasing of warehouse and office premises, security and facility management services, and entry support will be available to tenants. We have already noted interest in the site from leading Russian and international e-commerce and retail operators.”
Alexey Dunaev, a director of KRDV Primorye said that “In Primorye, 30 investor residents are implementing projects in transport and logistics, and most of these are engaged in the construction of warehouse complexes and distribution centres. The creation of a new complex will have a multiplier effect on related sectors of the economy, including services and trade. KRDV will provide the necessary support for the project and provide the most effective tools within the chosen preferential regime.”
Residents of the KRDV can enjoy zero taxes on property and income for the first 5 years, the opportunity to receive land and infrastructure support, the application of the free customs zone procedure, the promotion of products and services, legal protection, and other government support tools.
