Russia's Pivot To Asia: Issue 13

Welcome to Russia’s Pivot to Asia! In this issue: There is continuing significant Russian Belt & Road activity as Moscow continues to develop trade and supply chains to Asia, with NPP outreach also into Africa. Container supply bottlenecks continue to hinder exports, although the BRICS plus countries may be called upon to assist in plans that would dramatically shift southeast Asian supply chains and boost numerous regional economies. New global industry standards are beginning to be developed – the Russia-Africa diamond agreement is a blueprint for similar shifts away from Western standards with implications for global players across all sectors.
