Türkiye’s first nuclear power plant, the Akkuyu NPP, which Russia’s Rosatom is currently constructing, will begin generating dividends from electricity sales after 2035, Rosatom Energy International (REIN), the project manager, has stated in its annual report. The company was appointed the competency manager for promoting, marketing, and contracting Rosatom products in Türkiye in 2022.
