Russia and Kenya Discussing Direct Air Connectivity

Kenya

Kenya is interested in launching direct air travel with Russia, and the countries’ governments are discussing this, the Kenyan ambassador to Russia, Peter Mutuku Mathuki, has said. Speaking at the “North Caucasus: Cultural Code in the Development of International Cooperation” in Zheleznovodsk, he said that “the Kenyan and Russian governments are currently discussing this issue as part of solving problems of economic development, which also includes the issue of direct flights to Kenya. We are interested in resolving it.”

The launch of direct air travel between the countries will increase the flow of tourists to Kenya, he said.
