Russia’s agricultural product exports to Turkiye during 2025 rose 9% compared to the previous year, the Agroexport federal center has stated, to reach a value of US$3.8 billion. Exports in physical terms exceeded 12 million tonnes.
The largest revenues from agricultural exports to Turkiye came from wheat worth around US$1.2 billion, sunflower oil at US$1.1 billion, and bran for nearly US$322 million. The top five also included grain legumes worth US$296 million and oilseed cake and meal worth US$178 million.
According to the center, rice shipments showed the highest growth rates. While export revenue from rice amounted to just US$16,000 in 2024, it grew to US$8.8 million in 2025, most of this being husked rice. In addition, flaxseed exports increased 14 times, molasses exports were up 2.9-fold, and barley exports rose 2.7-fold.
The highest historical level of Russian agricultural exports to Turkiye in value terms was recorded in 2022, at over US$5 billion.
