This past May 16, 2025 in the town of Suifenhe, Heilongjiang Province, China, the Russian Export Center (REC) jointly with Chinese partners opened the first warehouse distribution center under the “Made in Russia” brand.
The total area of the warehouse distribution center in Suifenhe is 4,600 sq. m. The warehouse already stores more than 900 product items from 70 Russian manufacturers participating in the promotional program in China together with the Russian national pavilion. The main Russian national pavilion is in Shanghai, and Made in Russia retail stores are located in the cities of Harbin, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Shenyang.
“The warehouse has optimal conditions for storing high-quality products of Russian exporters. This is a key link in the supply chain, which will allow uninterrupted supplies to the “Made in Russia” retail store chain that is developing in China,” emphasized Alexei Solodov, Vice President of the REC.
Placement of their non-resource products with the Russian national pavilion gives Russian companies the opportunity to establish business contacts in China, increase brand recognition among consumers, conclude export contracts and product deliveries. The opening of the warehouse distribution center in Suifenhe gives Russian enterprises additional opportunities to strengthen their positions and expand their presence throughout China.
The grand opening ceremony of the warehouse distribution center was attended by representatives of the Russian Export Center, Heilongjiang Transport and Investment Company, Heilongjiang Trade Company “Treasure of the Russian Sea”, representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in China Dmitry Klishin, representatives of Chinese and Russian businesses.
On May 17, as part of promoting the national brand “Made in Russia”, a retail store with products under the “Made in Russia” brand will open in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province. It will be the seventh retail outlet under the Russian national pavilion. Concurrently, from May 17 to 21 the trade fair/fesitival “Made in Russia” will open, which will be attended by more than 100 manufacturers from 50 regions of Russia.
On the same day (May 17) as the fair in Harbin, the first international fair of online sales of Russian brands will open. The organizers of the online fair of Russian goods in Moscow are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), the Roscongress Foundation, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Moscow City Government with the support of the China Committee for the Promotion of International Trade.
The Russian Export Center is a state institution that supports non-resource, non-energy exports. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages when entering international markets, including the online export assistance platform My Export.
