The government of the Republic of Dagestan and representatives of MKB Group of Ankara, Turkiye have discussed building an assembly plant for agricultural machinery in the Russian region, mainly for tractors, the Dagestan export support center has stated.
Rizvan Gazimagomedov, Dagestan’s deputy prime minister, said that “The launch and localization of production will provide impetus for the development of our enterprises and their production capacities, increasing their workload. Moreover, I consider it essential that we come up with additional state support measures for the enterprises involved in the project in future.”
The statement says that the Dagestani regional government and MKB Group representatives agreed to continue working on implementing the investment project. The companies involved will be JSC Dagdizel Plant and JSC Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant (KEMZ) Concern of Dagestan, with plans to produce 70 tractors each month.
