Two Chinese Airlines Introduce Direct Flights To Vladivostok

Vladivostok

Two Chinese airlines have introduced new direct routes to Vladivostok in the Russian Far East. They are a regional flight between Harbin, the Provincial capital of China’s northern Heilongjiang Province, which borders Russia, and flights from Shenyang, the Provincial capital of China’s eastern Liaoning Province.

These flights will be operated by China Southern (Harbin) and Chengdu Airlines (Shenyang).

The Harbin-Vladivostok flight takes about 50 minutes and will be operated twice a week on an Airbus A380. Harbin is a city of about 6 million and a major transit area from Northern China to the national railway network. It was Russian territory from 1898 to 1929.
