Vietnam Budget Airline To Launch Vladivostok Flights

The Vietnamese low-cost carrier VietJet Air plans to launch direct regular flights from Hanoi (Noi Bai Airport) to Vladivostok starting June 15, according to Vladivostok Airport’s schedule, with flights operating twice a week on Airbus 321 aircraft.

VietJet Air was established in 2007 and positions itself as an international low-cost carrier. Its headquarters is located in Ho Chi Minh City. The company is owned by Sovico Group, one of Vietnam’s largest diversified conglomerates, operating in energy, construction, banking and finance, as well as the aviation industry.

Aeroflot have also begun servicing the Vietnamese market.  

Russia and Vietnam have long historical ties fating back to the Soviet era, while Vietnam’s capital has plenty of tourist attractions and is a regional hub for East Asia’s renowned beach resorts.
