Direct flights between Vladivostok and Macau have begun, in a new service operated by Cambodian Airlines. Flights operate three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) using an Airbus A320neo. The approximate flight time is 5 hours.
Macau is a Special Administrative Region of China, and is well known as a centre for gambling and events such as pop concerts. Russian nationals can enter Macau visa-free. It is also close to mainland China and provides numerous direct flight options to most major Chinese cities. Hong Kong is a 40 -minute jet foil ride away.

The service is presumably designed to attract wealthy Russian gamblers to the enclave, which also features high-class resorts, excellent restaurants and a wealth of entertainment options.
