Chinese investors plan to build a trade and logistics complex, an industrial park of building materials and a plant for the production of metal structures in Primorsky Krai, with a total investment amount of about ₽2.7 billion (US$33 million), according to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV).
The relevant agreements were signed during the visit of Russia’s KRDV Primorye (a subsidiary of KRDV) to Linhai and Taizhou in China’s eastern Zhejiang Province.
China’s Jinghai company plans to develop a Zhejiang Business Industrial Park in Russia, which will specialize in the production of double-glazed windows, facade and finishing materials. The volume of investments is ₽700 million. China’s Longpan company is investing ₽1.44 billion in the construction of a trade and logistics complex, also in Primorsky Krai, while China’s Qianshenhe company intends to build a plant for the production of metal structures for high-rise construction with investments of ₽550 million.
The signing of the agreements took place within the framework of the business program of the Russian-Chinese Economic Conference in Linhai. In the coming months, Chinese investors are planning reciprocal visits to work out the details of project implementation.
