Russia’s online cinema service Wink (Restream Media LLC), a joint venture between PJSC Rostelecom and NMG, has launched a subscription service in Tajikistan. MegaFon Tajikistan is Wink’s partner in the country.
Users in Tajikistan now have access to over 35,000 movies, TV series and cartoons via subscription.
Wink CEO Anton Volodkin said, “We see great potential in Central Asia. Some national markets are currently growing at double-digit rates, and consumption of high-quality paid content is rapidly increasing. We plan to expand our partnership further with the region’s largest telecom operators.”
Tajikistan has become the third country to offer Wink’s online cinema service, which is also available in Armenia and Belarus.
